The renter is responsible for actual loss and documented costs arising from damage, subject to the signed agreement and applicable law. The $500 reservation deposit is a one-time trip credit, not a damage/security hold. Renter-liable tickets, citations, parking, penalties, towing, booting, and impound costs are individually itemized with dates, amounts, and evidence; tolls aggregate into one total. An itemized request requires explicit Checkout, with no automatic saved-card charge. A signed mileage/travel addendum does not rewrite prior liability evidence. Report accidents immediately with a written report within 24 hours. A police report is required for injury, theft, hit-and-run, or major damage.
