Rental rules and fees

These business rules were confirmed by the owner for Ride Ready Rentals. Every request remains subject to manual review, vehicle availability, and the final electronically signed rental agreement.

Booking and payment

Approval: Manual approval is required before payment
Rental payment: Due before pickup
Standard security deposit: $500
Payment method: A major credit card in the renter's name
Free cancellation: Until 24 hours before pickup
Late cancellation: The first rental day's charge
No-show: The full booking amount
Extensions: Approval and payment are required before the rental is extended

Vehicle use

Pickup: In-person ID check and vehicle inspection
Late return: 30-minute grace period, then the daily rate applies
Fuel: Return the vehicle at the same fuel level
Smoking and vaping: Not allowed; a $250 cleanup fee applies
Pets: Approved pets must travel in carriers; service animals are handled separately
Included mileage: 200 miles per rental day
Extra mileage: $0.50 per mile
Travel area: Texas and bordering states with prior approval
Prohibited uses: Delivery, rideshare, racing, towing, and off-road use
Tolls and tickets: The renter pays the charge plus a $25 administration fee
